UNIDAD 1
Estimados padres o tutores:

Vuestro hijo/a va a empezar la Unidad 1 de su libro de Conocimiento del Medio Macmillan Natural and Social Science 5. Esta unidad trata de los seres vivos (Living things) y en ella va a:

·         aprender a diferenciar los seres vivos de las cosas inertes y a clasificar unos y otras
·         aprender las características de los seres vivos e identificar las funciones vitales
·         aprender cómo obtienen energía los organismos productores, consumidores y descomponedores
·         identificar distintos tipos de células y aprender las diferencias básicas que hay entre ellas
·         aprender a distinguir entre organismos unicelulares y multicelulares
·         aprender sobre las células y entender que las células, los tejidos, los órganos y los sistemas trabajan conjuntamente para formar organismos
·         aprender los cinco reinos que forman los seres vivos y las características de cada uno
·         escuchar, leer y comprender un texto en formato cómic y un texto de conocimiento sobre las bacterias

Además, en esta unidad hará una investigación sobre un ser vivo y escribirá los resultados. También dirá un chant sobre el método científico y otro sobre los seres vivos; este último le permitirá consolidar el vocabulario clave de la unidad; animad al niño/a para que lo escuche en el CD y lo recite con vosotros.

En las páginas 150-151 del libro, en la sección Science Investigators´ Wiki, encontraréis un resumen del contenido de la unidad que podéis leer juntos vosotros y vuestro hijo/a.

Los deberes para esta unidad tratan de los seres vivos. Llevad al niño/a a algún lugar seguro donde pueda observar la naturaleza y ayudadle a buscar seres vivos pertenecientes al reino animal, al vegetal y al de los hongos. Para terminar, ayudadle a leer las frases y escribir los nombres de los reinos.
